Dale William Mackenzie

Dale William Mackenzie (61), of Breton, Alberta lost his battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family on February 20, 2019.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lorraine; children, Stacy (Joey) Mackenzie , Rene (Scott) Smith, Kyla (Lem) MacAulay, Amber Johnson, Cal (Nicolle) Nugent; mother, Eleanor
Mackenzie; sister, Sandra (Eric) Zaryski; grandchildren, Mehsen and Hyden, Kaleb, Olivia and Mason, Sieanna, Scott and Craig, Ethan and Chloe, Noa and Cate; along with his loving nieces, and extended family.  Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to everyone.

He is predeceased by his father, Andrew Mackenzie and his departed aunts and uncles.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and University Hospital in Edmonton for their care and support.  The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Baker Funeral Chapel for being very caring and understanding during this difficult time.

 A memorial service will be held for Dale at the Breton Community Hall, on February 27, 2019, at 2 pm.  Donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or Stollery Children’s Hospital.
