It is with profound sadness that we announce Conrad Richard Ballett gained his wings on December 9, 2024. Born on July 3, 1968, in Baie Verte, Newfoundland, Conrad left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His journey on this earth was marked by unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and the community he cherished so dearly. Those who knew Conrad will remember him as a man who brought light and laughter into every room.

Conrad is survived by his loving family: Susan Frances Ballett (Mother), Donovan Richard Ballett (Son), Kelsey Anne Ballett (Daughter), Ryan Michael Pronych (Son-in-law), Anita Frances Ballett (Sister), and granddaughters Michaela Lou-Anne Pronych, Emily Anita Pronych, and Madison Jane Pronych. He will also be dearly missed by his nephews Ryan Lawrence Briere and Evan Patrick Briere, and his beloved puppy Giggles. He is predeceased by his father, Peter Richard Ballett, and his cherished puppies Hamish and Babygirl.

An ardent sports enthusiast, Conrad often boasted about his potential to go pro in darts, soccer, and baseball. His exceptional work ethic was renowned, particularly through his home renovation company, Mudpuppies General Contracting. Even in the face of health challenges, Conrad's determination to bring people's home dreams to life never wavered. However, his proudest achievements were undoubtedly his children and grandchildren. He delighted in sharing stories about the beautiful family his daughter and son in law have built and his "Rockstar" son who was always by his side.

Some of Conrad's hobbies included his home renovation career, which he loved so dearly it never felt like work, participating in hockey pools with lifelong friends, singing karaoke, and playing and coaching softball with his team, the Hooligans. He was a respected figure in the Beaumont Darts League, serving as its President for several years, captain of the team Masters of Mediocrity, and a beloved member of teams like Scotch Guards, Mixed Nuts, Leftovers, and Sociables. The league always treated Conrad with great respect, reminding him he was a cherished and loved member of their society at some of the most important points in his life and health journey. He was eternally thankful for the people he met and the friends he made with each and every member.

Conrad will forever be remembered for his unique sense of humor, sharp intellect, and kindhearted nature. He was always ready to lend a hand and bring a smile to those around him with his light-hearted jokes. His strength, stoicism, and caring demeanor made him a role model for many, and his pride in his work and accomplishments will continue to inspire those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers; Those who knew Conrad well were aware of his wish to be returned home to Newfoundland and have his ashes spread among a few places that held his fondest memories. If you wish to assist the family in honoring his final wish, please consider a contribution to the fund to bring him back home.

Conrad's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his family, friends, and community will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Forever in our hearts and never forgotten, we miss you and love you.
