Clifford Vernon Budd died peacefully after a long illness on March 11, 2025.
Cliff was born on July 14, 1933 in Rimbey, Alberta to Irvin and Alice Budd. Cliff was a jack of all trades and able to put his hand to anything. He spent most of his life as a truck driver including a number of years running his own delivery business with Marlene. Marlene and Cliff drove school buses for Hobbema Transport for a number of years which they both loved. Cliff will be remembered for his sense of humour and his love for his family.
He was predeceased by his wife Marlene; his siblings Ralph, Russ, Martin, Margaret Metzker, and Ellen Christiansen; his two daughters Tracy Peters and Laurel Noble; his grandchildren Jerry Jackson, Gary Noble, Heather Noble, and Lee-Anne Peters; and his great-grandson Caiden Melcosky-Peters.
Cliff is survived by his brother Gordon Budd; his son Bob Budd (Sheila) and grandchildren Angela, Bobby Joe, and Christopher; his daughter Rita Jackson (John) and grandchildren Dawn, Juanita, and Sabrina; his daughter Terrill Budd; his son Stephen Budd (Kelly), grandson Todd and great-granddaughter Quinn, and grandchildren Brooklyn and Jayce; his daughter Michelle Nielsen (Kevin), granddaughter Crystal (James) Sehlstrom and great-grandchildren Ashton, Connor, Harper, and Jamie, grandson Cody Knoll (Lori) and great-grandchild Kashlynn; and granddaughter Kelsie Knoll (Izaiah); granddaughter Lisa Schmidt (Rob); and grandsons Ryan Peters and Scott Noble.
Donations in Cliff’s name can be made to STARS (Air Ambulance), the Huntington Society of Canada, or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

By Cliff’s request, there will not be a formal funeral service.
