Cheryl Anne (Hill) Hopfe

Cheryl was so many things to so many people and made everyone feel like family. She loved with her whole heart. Her greatest love, aside from her family and friends, was her love of camping, fishing and boating. She was very crafty and artistic and until recently, loved wood working and glass work.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Larry; children, Steven, Keely Bloomer, Daniel (Brittany), and Brandon; grandchildren, Jadan Bloomer, Kayden Hopfe, Sophia Hopfe, and Gavin Hopfe; sisters, Jo-anne (Ken) Tarita, Terry (Nelson) Armstrong; and numerous extended family.
Cheryl is predeceased by her parents, Sarah Christina and Thomas E. Hill; sisters, Elaine (Ted) Strathman, Pamela (Mel) Smedley.
A special thank you to the transplant team and doctors at the U of A for all they have done over the years. 
A private gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate Cheryl’s life. Cremation has taken place. Donations in  memory of Cheryl are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Lung Association (208, 17420 Stony Plain Road NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 1K6), or charity of one’s choice.
