Charles Roland Richard

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Charles Roland Richard on May 20, 2025, at the age of 56.

Born in Sacré-Cœur, Hull, Quebec, Charles was a long-time resident of Ponoka and worked at the Centennial Centre (AHP) for 20 years. He was known for his dedication, sarcasm, strong opinions, and most of all, his unforgettable sense of humor.

Charles is survived by his loving mother Liette Richard; and his two brothers, Marc Richard (Linda) and Alain Richard. He also leaves behind his two daughters, Amelia Richard (Christopher Dobbin) and Chantel Richard (and her two sons Austin and Samuel).  Charles was predeceased by father Gilles Richard.

Charles will be remembered for the laughter he brought, the love he shared, and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

A private family service is being held to honour Charles.
