It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear son; brother; father; uncle; nephew and friend. Chad was born in Red Deer to Alan and Sandra Sande and the twins completed their blended family of six.
Chad grew up in Ponoka and attended school at St Augustine’s until grade 9 and then completed high school at Ponoka Composite.
He played Volleyball and officiated at Hockey and enjoyed working at McDonalds in Ponoka until he graduated. Once school was complete he followed in his older brother Heath’s footsteps and got into the concrete world. He worked with his brothers there until starting his own company.
While visiting his mother in Powell River he met Jillian LaMarsh and together they had a son Coleton. Although Chad and Jillian’s relationship ended, Chad spent as much time as he could with Coleton who truly was his pride and joy.
Chad is survived by his son Coleton; parents Alan and Sandra; his brother Heath (Beth); twin Cory (Chelsea); sisters Melissa (Stephan), Tina (Vince) and Shannon (James; as well as numerous family members and his beloved nieces and nephews.
Chad was loved and will be missed and never forgotten by those who knew him and appreciated his sense of humor and his kindness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Lacombe (5138-49 Street).
