A Wake has been started at the Howard Buffalo Memorial Centre, in Maskwacis, Alberta. November 26, 2019. A Feast will take place Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm.

Traditional Ceremonies/Christian Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 10:00 am, at the Howard Buffalo Memorial Centre, with Burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Candice is survived by her children,  Lucrezia (Preston), Jarrett, Zhane (Jordie), Azira; father of her children, Shawn Littlepoplar; grandchildren, Jordence; brothers, Kelly (Lana), Conrad; sisters, Charmaine S. Soosay, Jaime Nepoose, Sophia Quinney, Mar-Mar Baptiste, Rayanne Cutknife, Chantal Cutknife, Debbie Crane; step-sisters, Leila Houle, Susan Houle (Daniel), Silver Houle (Chad); step-sons, Derek (Patti), Chad (Barbara), Joshua (Krissie); mother, Donna-Potts Johnson (Muskwa Houle), father, Donald Johnson; aunt, Peggy Bull-Johnson; grandmother/ kokom, Betty Potts; adopted brother, Quinton Moonias, Derrick Roasting, William Laroque, Mitch Cutknife, Jason Morningstar; adopted uncle, Treffrey Deerfoot; nephews, Easton, Charlie; baby puppy, Peppa Sugar Simon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren from Potts, Johnson, Louis, and Bull families. 

Candice was predeceased by her partner, Curtis (Chap) Simon; maternal mosom, Walter Potts; paternal mosom, John Johnson; paternal kokom, Mary Bull; maternal great grandparents, Jacob and Sarah Louis, Louis and Betsy Nautuasis; paternal great grandparents, Francis and Peggy Bull, Peter and Susan Kechiyas; uncles, Clarence, Daniel, Emil, and Percy Johnson; aunties, Velma Baptiste and Ruby Soosay.
