It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brenda Zowtuk, aged 57, on October 23, 2023, in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Born on August 15, 1966, Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Jaime Zowtuk and Justine (Jarret) Henderson, as well as her granddaughter, Josephine. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie (Dan) Hayes. Brenda was predeceased by her mother, Rosa Gendron, and her sister, Tammy Saramaga.
Brenda will forever be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. As a mother, she found fulfillment and completeness, nurturing her daughters with endless care and support. Brenda's love knew no bounds, and her daughters were the center of her world. Her kind and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be incredibly missed.
Brenda dedicated her career to serving others, working diligently for AHS. Her commitment and hard work were evident in all that she did, and she made a lasting impact on those she served.
Beyond her professional life, Brenda found solace and joy in her cherished hobbies. She had a passion for the art of furniture restoration, taking pleasure in transforming worn pieces into beautiful works of art. Brenda also found comfort in the simple pleasures of life, such as cozy movie nights and the warmth of cuddling with her beloved cat. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her daughters, Jaime and Justine, and more recently her granddaughter Josephine.
A memorial service will be planned to honor Brenda's life. The details will be shared with close friends and family personally.
