Brenda Joyce (Brown) Richard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother, at the age of 83 years old.

Brenda was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Louis Richard; her son Leonard Richard; her mother Carrie Brown; and her brother Sam Brown.

She is survived by her sisters Barbara Munisteri and Jennifer Murphy; her daughters Marlene Richard and Denise Richard; her granddaughters Jessica (Chris) Furoy and Alorah Richard (Chad); her grandson Kenton Butters; her great-grandchildren Nicholas, Rylie (Kim), Savannah, Wyllow, Jaidyn, Sadayo, Caleb, Kenton Jr., and Carma; and her great-great-grandsons Kendall and Phoenix.  She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Special thanks to Rimoka Lodge and Ponoka FCSS (Home Care) for their care over the years.  Special thanks also to the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre Emergency and the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.  Thanks also to the Ponoka Funeral Home for their compassion and service.

A private family service will be held to honour Brenda and celebrate her life.
