Bonnie Gale Fontaine
1960 - 2026
Bonnie Gale Fontaine, of Wetaskiwin, passed away on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at the age of 66 years.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Kim Fontaine; daughter, Ashley Gingrich and her children, Cameron, Brooke, and Brock; son, Chad Fontaine and his children, Oliver and Hudson; brothers, Harvey Ganske and Alvin Ganske; and sister, Carrie Semenoff.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Ganske and Ivan Ganske; father, Awalt Ganske; and mother, Ida Ganske.
Bonnie had a gift for making things bloom — her garden was her pride, and her flowers were legendary in the neighbourhood. In retirement, she found an unexpected second love working at Costco, where her warmth made her a favourite among coworkers and customers. But nothing lit her up like her grandchildren. They were her heart, and she made sure they knew it every single day.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
If friends and family so desire, donations are greatly appreciated and gratefully accepted by:
