Axel Benvik

July 24, 1957 ~ October 29, 2024

Axel Benvik, of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, passed away on October 29th, 2024, at the age of 67 years.

Axel is survived by his wife, Barbara (née Jaburek); sister Dorothy (Dan) Claypool; brothers, John Benvik and Edwin (Linda) Benvik; brother-in-law David (Leah) Jaburek; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sisters Astrid Ziebarth and Margaret Heinz; brothers William Benvik and Otto Benvik; and parents Maybelle and Karl Benvik.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 8th, 2024, at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin.

The interment will take place at Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.
