1935-2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Arnold Clarence Hunker was born on August 16, 1935, in Thorsby, Alberta, to Emma and Henry Hunker and passed away at the age of 90 years, on March 17, 2026, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
Arnold is survived by his children, Bradley (Lorraine) Hunker, Marlanne (Rob) Kuzio, Brent (Rhonda) Hunker, Lonald (Debbie) Hunker, Kari Morris, Darren Hunker, and Ryan (Felicia) Hunker; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters Erna Roth and Gladys Dotzlaf; brother Lawrence (Pat) Hunker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Arnold was predeceased by his daughter, Elanne Hunker; second wife, Bernice Sauer Hunker; parents, Emma and Henry Hunker; sister and brother-in-law, Ida and Henry Pohl; brothers and sisters-in-law, Adolph and Sonia Hunker, Ed and Joan Hunker; and brothers-in-law Henry Roth and Sam Dotzlaf.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
