Anthony (Tony) David Callum
January 1, 1972 - March 18, 2020
After a 20 year courageous battle, Tony succumbed to Huntington’s Disease on the morning of March 18, 2020. The fight was long and hard, but now, at last, peace.
When Tony was healthy, he enjoyed so many wonderful things: art, music, history and architecture to name a few, and of course, a few travels with mom.
Thank you to the staff at Allen Gray Continuing Care in south Edmonton who cared for Tony during the last five years of his life. They are untiring, compassionate and often go above and beyond!
Left to mourn is his mother, Darlene Glaser. Survived by uncles, Edward (Marlene) Podritske, Gerald (Irene) Callum, John (Jean) Callum, Jack Plant; aunts, Jean Fenske, Joan Callum and numerous cousins and second cousins.
Predeceased by his father, David Callum; grandparents, Albert and Betty Podritske; grandfather, Harold Callum; uncles, Richard, Norman, Harold and Michael Callum; aunts, Dorothy Plant and Irene Rayner.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held later in the year, followed by internment
with grandmother, Elizabeth (Betty) Podritske in the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.
Donations can be made to the Huntington Society of Canada or to the charity of your choice.
