Annetta (DeLyster) van Someren

Annetta van Someren (nee DeLyster)
June 18, 1951 - February 26, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of Annetta van Someren announce her passing on February 26, 2023 in Wetaskiwin at the age of 71 years.

Annetta is remembered by her loving husband of 48 years, Harry van Someren; three children, Pamela (Jonny) Hayes, Barbara (Vince) van Someren, and Gregory (Coralynn) van Someren; 10 grandchildren, Tayler, Chandler, Tiergan, Dara, Erynn, Ashton, Meegan, Ella, Rylan, and Jade; brothers, Michael (Marj) and Tom DeLyster; mother-in-law, Evertje van Someren; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Annetta was predeceased by her daughter, Lynette van Someren; her parents, John and Anne DeLyster of Winfield, Alberta; an infant brother, Adrian; an infant sister, Elizabeth; and her father-in-law, Aalt  van Someren of Pipestone, Alberta.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from Baker Funeral Chapel (5302- 50 Avenue, Wetaskiwin) with interment to follow. Her service will be live streamed.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rosehaven in Camrose, Wetaskiwin Long Term Care and Wetaskiwin Home Care for their special care of Annetta.
