Anna Mildred (Krause) Tetz was born on July 12, 1927 to Frank and Myrtle Krause in Spokane, Washington. When Anne was still young, her parents moved to Wimborne, Alberta. Anne and her family moved again, this time to Rosedale Valley, when she entered high school, so she could attend Canadian Junior College (now Burman University). While at CJC Anne met Wilford Tetz and they began dating. They were married in 1946 and moved to Loma Linda, California where Wilf was studying medicine.
After Wilf graduated from medical school, the couple moved to Edmonton where Wilf took an internship at the University of Alberta. Upon completion of his medical training, Wilf, Anne and their two daughters moved to Lacombe to begin his medical practice. Four sons joined the family in the next few years. Anne was a devoted wife and mother, tirelessly supporting her husband and her six children. She passed away quietly in the Lacombe hospital on July 21, one week after her 95th birthday.
