Adrian Axel Emil Swanson

On April 23, 2025 Adrian Swanson passed away at the Wetaskiwin Hospital Long Term Care Centre at the age of 89. 

Adrian is survived by his sister in law Joyce; nephew Dave (Angela); niece Leanne (Bart) Rohrick; great-nephew Jesse and great-niece Savanah; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Adrian was predeceased by his parents Axel and Ruth Swanson; brothers Bert and Donald; and nephew Bradley Swanson. 

Adrian enjoyed helping his brother restore old tractors, pump engines and model T cars.  Together, with brother Bert they farmed the family farm in the Calumet district all his life. 

Those wishing to pay their respects to Adrian may do so at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday April 30, 2025.  An Interment Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Calumet Cemetery.  The Memorial Service will start at 2:00 p.m. at at the Ponoka Funeral Home (Livestream Viewer located below).
