Warlean was born on a blizzardy wintery day at the U of A in Edmonton at 3:23 p.m. on February 4, 1991.  The Doctor had told me I would never be able to have children again.  But, lo and behold, in 1989, I was chosen over 500 women in the province of Alberta.  One of 10 other women from the other provinces of Canada.  Warren was ecstatic.  Seven children were conceived and Warlean was one of them.  She was born one year and three days after the operation.  Thank the Creator and Dr. Joseph Scott.  She weighed 10 pounds - four ounces, a little sister for James Jody Small a beautiful healthy daughter for Warren Fraser Ermineskin and Debra Louis-Small.  Warren and I got married on November 15, 1990.
Warlean Macey was always a happy go-lucky girl, caring and giving as she grew from a baby until now.  When she met up with people, it was always with a smile and a “Hi” or “Hello”.  Warlean was a go-getter; at 13 years old she worked at A&W in Wetaskiwin and, as a Samson student, she worked at the Ermineskin Band Administration as a receptionist.
In 2001, she met Jessy L.A. Crier Sr., the father of her four children, Amara, Brookz Jessilean, Alexsis Macey Blaine, Jessy L.A. Crier Jr, and Lucas Warrene Mathew Ermineskin.
Warlean and Jessy separated in January of 2018, Warlean thinking it was for the best interest of her children.  Had they stayed together, their 12 year anniversary would have been October 19, 2018.
Warlean was changing her life for the better, for a brighter future for her children and herself.  “Stay Focussed” was her motto to move forward.
Warlean was the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, grandmother, niece and friend anyone could ever ask for.  She will be sadly missed by many.
She leaves to mourn: her loving mother, Debra Louis-Ermineskin; children, Amara Brookz Jessilean Crier-Ermineskin, Alexsis Macey Blaine Ermineskin-Crier, Jessy Larry Alex Crier Jr., baby Lucas Warren Mathew Ermineskin-Crier; brothers, James Jody Small and Jamieson Small; ex common-law, Jessy L.A. Crier Sr.; aunts, Barb B. Louis, Florence Ermineskin, Raven Crier, Denise Crier, Dianne Crier, Nicole Crier, Hope Crier; uncles, Marlon “Shorty” Louis, Malcolm “Lenny” Louis (Uncle Baby Cutes) other dad, Eddie Ermineskin, Bobby Ermineskin, Gary Howse, Glenny Fraser, Gary Fraser, Nick Crier; her one and only Kokum, Nancy Fraser Howse Potts; snd her special friend, Derrick Omeaso0 (her first love).
Predeceased by her father, Warren Mathew Ermineskin; aunt, Aldina Louis; Arnup and Mary Jane Louis, Steve and Louise (Ermineskin) Fraser; step-dad, Herman R. Beaver; sister, Courtney Brooke Johnson; six siblings (miscarriages).
