RUTH ILENE FUSS

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ruth Ilene Fuss on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the age of 84 years, in Wetaskiwin, AB.

Ruth was the eldest of 3 children, born to Herman & Helene (nee Bloedel) Lentz, with sisters Elsie (Leonard) Schmuland and Marlene (Roy) Schmuland.  Ruth is predeceased by her parents Herman & Helene, sister Marlene Schmuland & nephew Tanner Schmuland.

Ruth married Harry on a sweltering hot Monday, July 18, 1955 and they just celebrated 64 years of marriage. They were blessed with 3 children, Brenda (Mel), Sheila, & Murray (Shara); 8 grandchildren, Adam (Christine), Chelsea (Sean), Paige, Caleb, Kelsey, Taelor, Josef & Jessica and 2 great-grandchildren, Owen and Deklan.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. In memory of Ruth, donations may be made to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation to purchase new wheelchairs for Unit 35.
