Born on June 11, 1933 in Ryley, Alberta

Entered Into Rest on June 6, 2018 at Wetaskiwin, Alberta

After a two year battle with cancer, Roy passed away in the Wetaskiwin Hospital with his loving wife Hazel Isaacson by his side.

Roy is survived by his siblings, Jean Hertz of Olds, Caroline Mathes of Washington, Elsie Sullivan of Edmonton, Doris Husarik of Washington and Lillian (Harvey) Ford of Edmonton. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Don (Ruth) Rathje of Calgary and Chris (Lynda) Rathje of Edmonton as well as sisters-in-law, Eileen Romaniuk of Vegreville and Esther Romaniuk of Grimshaw.  Roy was the 'fun' Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.  Roy will be dearly missed by Treg and Clare Isaacson, their children and grandchildren.
Roy was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Evelyn as well as siblings, Fred, Victor, Minnie, Helen Grotski and Tony.
