Rosalyn Jeanne Pearson (nee: Carby)

November 22, 1942 ~ February 6, 2017

Rosalyn Pearson was born in Turner Valley, Alberta on November 22, 1942 to Rose Marie and Carl Wilfred Carby and passed away in Wetaskiwin on February 6, 2017.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Verner Nels of 53 years; son, Todd and wife, Suzelle and grandsons, Derian and Daine. Her siblings; brother, Bill (Pat); sister, Sandra (Dave); brother, Michael (Betty), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Rosalyn was a cherished friend whose love for family was unequalled. She was very involved in her community, from helping to organize trail rides, volunteering at community events and throughout her life an avid hockey and ball Mom. Later in life she was very active in all aspects of her grandsons’ lives as well, and was always seen at community events with one boy or the other by her side.

Rosalyn was predeceased by her parents, Rose Marie and Carl Wilfred Carby.

Celebration of Rosalyn’s Life: Friday, February 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakedell Community Hall (Ag. Society), 1 mile past the Village at Pigeon Lake on Hwy 13, then ½ mile south on Range Road 12.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Wetaskiwin Hospital for their compassionate and loving care.
