Oscar Wiancko Obituary

On June 10, 2018, after a lengthy illness, Oscar Wiancko peacefully passed away at the Northcott Care Centre at the age of 84 years.

Oscar is survived by his loving wife Mitzie; children John (Donna) Wiancko, Joe (Cathy) Wiancko, Harry (Marian) Wiancko, and Ellie (Ryan) Vold; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Pearce, Esther (Neil) Gerritsen, and Carole (Hank) Clark; brothers Grant (Jennifer) Wiancko and Gordon (Lin) Wiancko; sisters-in-law Gladys Wiancko, Anna Wiancko, and Pam Wiancko; along with many much loved nieces and nephews. Oscar was predeceased by his parents Hilda and George; brothers John, Harry, Jim, and Wes; and his sister Myrtle.

A Private Family Service is being held.

Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Northcott Care Centre or the Ponoka Wheelchair Van Society.
