Melvin (Skip) Arnold Scott Jr. of Bluffton, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the age of 69 years. He will be lovingly missed by his son, Aaron Scott (Janelle); daughter, Katie Snape (Craig); grandchildren, Kelsie, Adam, Oran, Hayden, Shanna; brothers, David Scott (Martha), Richard Scott (Renee); sister, Debra Russell (Rick), Elizabeth Fear (Joseph), Susan Holmes (Leo), Christine Scott; brother and sister in-law, Gary and Susan Rode, Bob and Donna Bell; uncle, Lee Johnson (Earlene); as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Rose Scott; son, Ben Scott; parents, Betty and Melvin Scott.
Private interment will take place at the Eden Brook Memorial Gardens in Calgary, Alberta at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Melvin’s memory to Salvation Army Canada or to a charity of your choosing.
