Melvin Boyd Hay

Melvin Hay passed of Bashaw passed away on January 5, 2018 at the age of 80 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Diane; daughters Dorene Hay (Darcy Oberg) and Yvonne King (Ron); grandchildren Dylan Bergstrom (Alyssa Tschirren), Tyson King, Dallas Bergstrom (Taryn Prestage), and Andrea King (Dakota Layton); brothers Gordon (Louise) and Tom (Shirley); sister Flo Rider (Ron); brothers-in-law Gary Rider (Sharon) and Dale Rider (Linda); sister-in-law Gail Schoff (Ted); as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Albert & Louella Hay and his sisters Dorothy Olkovick and Madeline Kern.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Bashaw Community Centre at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to any local Bashaw charity.
