Mary is survived by her sons, Sam Saulteaux (Rock) and Christopher Sotto; sister, Nancy House; daughters-in-law, Lydia Smallboy, Betty Kaquitts and Shauna Samson; grandchildren, Leon (Lisa), Erik (Trina), Michael (Leanne), Jessie (Tracey), Robert (Angel) James Smallboy, Melina Blackman, Krissy Samson, Edison Samson, Ben Lovig, Deanne Rabbit, Christon and Riley Kaquitts; 57 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Sam J. Brand and Annie Sotto; brothers, Narcisse, Pierre, Frances and Christopher; sisters, Celina Bird and Martha Whitebear; grandson, Gary Kaquitts; granddaughter, Janet Abraham-Smallboy; great grandchildren, Darian Omeasoo, Dayja Louis, Harper Smallboy, and Helen Smallboy.
