Mabel was born on January 19, 1944 in Trout Lake, Alberta and passed away on June 21, 2017 at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Center at the age of 73 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jack Culford; her son Merle Culford and his children Matthew (Brittany), Jona, Letisha (Clifford) and Maria; her daughter Keri Culford and her children Kyle, Shayla and Reagan; her great-grandchildren Joshua and Zaraya. Mabel is survived by her father Oliver Cardinal; five brothers and their spouses; four sisters and their spouses; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Cecilia Cardinal and her precious grandson Jarrid Culford.
A wake for Mabel will be held at the Jim Rattlesnake Building on Sunday, June 25 at 11:00 a.m.
