Leona May Scott

 On Aug. 27, 2019, Leona Scott passed away, on her 89th birthday. Leona is survived by her loving family; children Peggy (Al) Robertson of Edmonton, Linda Selinger (Jim McLean) of Lethbridge, Robert (Bonnie) Scott of Millet; grandchildren, Michael (Ulrika) Solowan, Kristy (Wes) Thomas, Jenny Selinger (Sonny) and Mike (Laura) McLean, Robyn Scott and Stephen (Mallory) Scott; great-grandchildren, Linnea and Ella, Chloe and Olivia, Zealynd, Luke, Mylee, Emma and Angus,  Jack and Jude; her sister-in-law, Jo Moonen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Leona was predeceased by her husband Orville Scott, her parents, Roy and Hilda Lightfoot, and brother, Bill Lightfoot, in addition to in-laws, Tom and Marie Wolf, Jerry and Jean Scott, John Moonen and Bill, Norville, Gordon Scott. 

A Celebration of Life is to be held on Sat, Sept. 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 50 Ave, Wetaskiwin). If so inclined, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Alberta Cancer Foundation, or to a charity of your choice.
