Lee Haroldson Obituary

Lee Marvin Haroldson was born on October 20, 1961 in Provost AB to Marvin Haroldson and the late Irene (Heffner) Haroldson.  Lee attended school in Metiskow, and high school in Hughenden.  He went to university in Camrose and Edmonton, where he received his Bachelor of Education degree.  Lee began his teaching career back where he graduated high school in Hughenden, then taught over many years at Hobbema, Gift Lake and Wabasca. On the day of Lee’s passing on March 21, he was doing what he loved, teaching and expanding the minds of the younger generation when he was touched by the hands of God.

Lee leaves to mourn his son, Aaron; father, Marvin; brother, Len; niece, Jasmin; and nephew, Forest; as well as aunts and uncles, Marlene Ozga, Ed win Heffner, Patricia Doetzel and Sylivia and Rodney Epp.  Lee was predeceased by his mother, Irene; uncles and aunts, Claude Ozga, Jack Doetzel, Angela and Ron Weinkauf, Shirley Heffner.

Lee's true calling was teaching.  He loved his students and they loved him back. He enjoyed fishing, quadding, volunteering, helping friends and neighbours, and was heavily involved in his church.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin.
