Katherine Elizabeth Olson (Cameron)

On April 21, 2018, Katherine Olson of Ponoka, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 96 with family by her side. Katherine leaves to cherish her memory, children, Ross (Iris), Marlene (Mel), Robert (Marlene), Al (Robyn), Bruce (Judi); 16 grandchildren and their children.

Katherine was predeceased by her husband, Harvey in 1963; parents, Angus and Cassie Cameron; daughter, Darlene; sisters, Isobel, Mary, Ann, Violet; brothers, John, Angus, Matthew, Daniel, Murdock, Robert and George. She will be lovingly remembered for her tremendous courage, kindness and love of family. She was a wonderful cook, baker and operated a café, all while raising the family. She was a woman of faith, who seldom complained. Special thanks, to the Ponoka Long Term Care staff, nurses and doctors, for their support during her stay there. Respecting her wishes, a private family graveside service will be held.
