The family of Julie Anderson is saddened to announce her sudden and unexpected passing on July 14th, 2017. Julie Lynn Anderson was born on January 3rd, 1970 to parents, Harvey and Sheelagh Anderson and she grew up on a small farm south east of Wetaskiwin. Julie leaves behind, her parents, Harvey and Sheelagh; a life partner, Robert Lee who has two daughters, Jessica and Kaitlyn; siblings, Barry Anderson (Guylaine Bergeron), Tracy Trotter (Brian Clancy) and Shawna Duncan (Ken Duncan) as well as niece and nephews, Evan, Ryan, Tianna, Jeremie, Philip, Ethan, and Gavin.

Julie was full of life and lived life to the fullest. She continued to travel and participate in sporting events including the transplant games. Julie found a way to thrive and be successful with whatever challenges came her way. She had several successful careers in Edmonton and prided herself with providing prompt and professional service. Julie was extremely loyal to her friends and family and could always be counted on in times of need. Julie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was having coffee with her mom, fishing with her dad, or golfing with Rob.

Julie was very determined and lived her life with an unwavering optimism; she set high goals for herself and saw the best in everyone. Julie will be missed for her bright smile, quick wit, funny stories, and caring personality. Julie was a bright light who left us too soon.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to either the Diabetes Canada, or the Canadian Kidney Foundation.

Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to join us in Honoring and Celebrating Julie’s life on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker Funeral Chapel, Wetaskiwin.
