John Fercho

It is with great sadness that the family of John Fercho announce his passing at the age of 86.  John will be sadly missed by his wife of 25 years Betty; his children Robert (Pam) Fercho, Brenda (Douglas) Johnston and Sharon (Larry) Bucyk; grandchildren Michael (Deb), Brett (Sonja), Chase (Rebecca), Derek, Alyssa and Adam.  He will also be missed by his step-children Charlene (Del) Bouck; Brenda (Dennis) Redman, Mark Emann, Jeremy (Keri) Emann and their children and grandchildren.   Also mourning John’s passing are his brothers, Harvey (Dorothy), Edward (Lavona), David (Eileen); sister, Ruth Petuh; sister-in-law Yvonne Fercho; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
John was predeceased by his first wife, Esther (nee Tonn); parents, Ludwig and Marie Fercho; sister, Karoline McDiarmid; brother, Raymond Fercho and step-granddaughter, Amanda LaBonte (nee Redman). 
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of God, 4407 56 Ave, Wetaskiwin. In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Cross Cancer Institute, (11560 University Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2), or The Gideons International of Canada, (Box 3619, Guelph, Ontario N1H 7A2).
