Joan Marie (Smith) Mueller

Joan Marie (Smith) Mueller was born September 19, 1940 in Rockglen, Saskatchewan and passed away August 13, 2018 in Edmonton, Alberta.

Joan had a love for all things in nature.  She took great pride in her flower and vegetable gardens; her yard was a beautiful sanctuary where many family and friends enjoyed sitting and visiting.  Joan’s door was always open and the coffee was always on.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lisa, son-in-law Les and grandson Jaxon; son Travis, daughter-in-law Dawn, grandchildren Emily and Tyler; daughter Holly, son-in-law Graeme, grandchildren Coral and Kye; sisters Judy and Sherry(Stan); brothers George (Leila) and Lawrence (Beth);  brother in law Ernie (Irene); Aunt Mildred; Uncle Ralph; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joan was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Wilf, and beloved son Andrew.

A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #66 Auditorium in Ponoka. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Alzheimer's Association of Alberta would be appreciated.
