On October 30, 2017 Jean Cross Gibson passed away at the age of 91 years.
Jean is survived by her loving family: husband, Donald; four children, David (Sally) Cross, Ruth (Jerry) Preheim, John (Janice) Cross, Peter Cross; six grandchildren, Becky and David Preheim, Andrew Cross, Bethany (Jeb) Jones, Naomi (Troy) Johnstone, Phoenix Cross; seven great-grandchildren, Micah, Megan, Caleb and Corey Jones, Ellie, Adelaine and Ethan Johnstone; one brother, Neil Stevens; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Stevens; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Jean was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond; sister, Betty; brother, Hugh; and her parents, Russell and Bessie Stevens.
A service honouring Jean's life will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church in Wetaskiwin on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Baker Funeral Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
