James Nicholas was born in Burin, Newfoundland on August 7, 1992 to Gordon and Rita Hillier. He was little brother to Timothy. This family never had the opportunity to live together; James went directly into foster care.
James became part of Terry and Carolyn’s family in February of 1996 and has been a part of their family ever since.
James enjoyed going for walks and for drives, if the drive wasn’t as long as he wanted, he wouldn’t get out of the car when he got to the destination or home. He enjoyed going to the mall, if he wasn’t ready to leave, he would grab the doorway so he couldn’t be pushed through. He loved ice cream and music. He would often push Carolyn towards the piano so she could play for him. He loved to sing, it may have always been the same note, but he loved to sing while Carolyn played. James loved hugs and enjoyed having his eyes kissed. He enjoyed the sun and the wind in his face. James loved life.
James will be mourned and missed by his family and those that loved and cared for him. They look forward to the day when death will be no more.
Terry and Carolyn would like to thank their family and friends for their prayers, love and support during this difficult time.
