Hugh passed away peacefully at the age of 92, after a strong battle of declining health. He was a fighter.
He has left behind his loving wife, Val; daughter, Deb (Brian) and son, Rick; grandchildren, Keltie (Jason), Sean (Kate) and Reid; great-grandchildren, Keili, Kaden and Ophelia. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Darcy.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan he then moved to Edmonton at the age of 18 to play Pro-hockey and to meet his future wife, Val, of 66 years.
He played 20 years of Pro-hockey and was never a 9-5 guy. He always believed there was other more lucrative ways to make a living.
Everyone knew him as a strong and proud man who loved, and was loved by his family and friends. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Always in our hearts.
