It is with great sadness that the family announces Henry (Hank) Pelsma has passed away at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita of 26 years; son, Kelly (Laura); grandson, Dylan; sister, Frances Tanski; as well as nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Hank was predeceased by his parents, Phyllis and Pete Pelsma; and nephew, Duane. Hank has battled diabetes, and fought courageously against lung cancer during the past year. At Hank’s request, he is being cremated and there will be no service.

We would like to thank Dr. Schlenther and Unit 35 at the Wetaskiwin Hospital for their excellent care. A special thank you to his caring friends and his family, who stood by and cared for him, when he needed them most.
