George was born on January 30, 1943 in Red Deer, Alberta to Vince and Rachel Bell and lived his entire life on the family property of "Windy Point Farm". He will be remembered for his hard work ethic, love of big cars, his patience, being organized and caring, and a wise man beyond his years. George enjoyed playing trombone and singing with his brothers. He enjoyed parties with old and young, and loved a good joke. George was very committed and dedicated to the church, his family and the farm.
Left to mourn his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Ann; his daughter Sandra Nelson (Mike); his sons Aaron Bell (Deanne) and Justin Bell (Heidi); his grandchildren Baylee, Leah, Ashley, Makayla, Jacob, Anna, and Noelle; his brothers David (Annabelle), Richard (Sara), Vic (Gail), Bruce (Darla), and Stan (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Sandy Baumbach.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, September 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sylvan Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church. Donations in George's name are gratefully accepted to Operation Smile (info.transformingfaces.com) or to the Pathfinders Club.
