Garth Robert Oxton

Our beloved brother passed away suddenly at the age of 57 years in Ponoka.  Garth was born on August 3, 1961 to Floyd and Dorothy Oxton in Elk Point, Alberta.

Garth is survived by his sisters Karen Kroon and Jo-Ann (Leslie) Regan; his brother John (Peggy) Oxton; ten nieces and nephews; thirteen great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father Floyd Oxton, mother Dorothy Oxton, sister-in-law Doris Oxton, and brother-in-law Darrell Kroon.

Garth will be remembered for his infectious laugh, great sense of humour, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.  Garth always had a smile on his face.  Garth will be missed but not forgotten.  The family thanks you for your support during this difficult time.

Friends are invited to join Garth's family at a Service of Remembrance which will be held at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019.
