Evelyn is survived by her common-law husband, Tom Heavenfire; children, Ken (Cindy), Patricia (Twain), Christina (Earl), Don (Sandra), Beetle (Raylene), Carolyn Melanie (Russell); adopted son, Ronald Crane; sisters-in-law, Sadie Buffalo, Gladys Heavenfire, Flossy Ermineskin; daughter-in-law, Geraldine Omeasoo;  24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends. 
 

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, David Omeasoo; sons, Trevor, Calvin; grandchildren, Latasha, Ocean Omeasoo; great-grandchildren, Amaze, Sirena, Lily and Alabama; parents, Katie and William Buffalo; sisters, Bertha Buffalo, Amy Larocque, Dorothy Netterfield; brothers, Robert, and Alex Buffalo;  as well as cousins Clifford and Irene Dennehy.
