Esther Colleen (Law) Hill

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Esther Colleen Hill (nee Law). She was born near Tees, Alberta and passed away in Ponoka, Alberta on October 27, 2017 at the age of 83 years.

Esther will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don; daughters Linda (Michael) Ellaby, Lisa Shipton and Donna (Trevor) Wall; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Sylvia Kocher, brothers Ron (Diane) Law and Don (Sally) Law; sisters-in-law Joan Law and Ida Law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Alf and Gertie Law, sister Genevieve Commentucci, brothers Kenneth and Cecil and brothers-in-law Lyle Kocher and Norm Commentucci. Thank you to friends and staff at Sunrise Village, Dr. Bunting and hospital staff. We would also like to thank the staff at Northcott Care Centre for the compassionate care and support given to mom.

As per her wishes, there will be no formal service, just a private family gathering.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Esther to the Alzheimer Society.
