It is with great sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of Ed at the age of 68 years.

Born in Melfort, Saskatchewan, Edwin moved to Wetaskiwin, Alberta at the age of six years. He chose to remain in the Wetaskiwin area where he and his wife, Beverly, would raise their children and live a happy life.
Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Beverly; son, Shaughn (Angela); daughter, Karie-Anne (Steve) Thayer; two grandchildren, Ben and Ethan; three brothers, Howard (Jackie), David (Shirley) and Darren (Jacquie); four sisters, Elva (Bill) McGhee, Rhonda (Brian) Henke, Ruth (Larry) Brost, Cathy (Blaine) Henschel; sisters-in-law, Megan Nichols and Bev Nichols as well as numerous relatives and many friends.
Edwin was predeceased by his father, Archie; mother, Marion and two brothers, Melvin and Garth.
In Edwin’s memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Salvation Army or to the Wild Horses of Alberta Society (WHOAS), Box 4154, Olds, Alberta T4H 1P7.
