Edna was born May 15, 1916 the oldest child of Rose and Donald Peters in Croydon, England. She moved to Edmonton when she was 3 years old and she resided there until the family moved to Ponoka in August of 1960 when her husband, Ernie, was transferred to the Alberta Hospital Ponoka for work.

Edna leaves to mourn her death 7 children: son David Parker (Helen) of Port Alice, B.C. and their children Michael (Dana) and Jennifer (Paul Thorpe); daughter Pat (Howie Rowland) of Ponoka and their children Tim (Margaret), Greg, Christine (Orion Donison) and Alison (Sam Klimec); daughter Joan (Ron Prediger) of Ponoka and their children Lori (Jeff Markowski), Kevin (Carolyn), Dennis (Dana) and Diane (Jason Cline); son Mike Parker(Joanne) of Ponoka and their children Maureen (Corey Ollikka), Gordon (Jennifer), Margo (Jeff Irons), and Michelle Parker; daughter Marlene Bonnett (Peter Jensen) of Ponoka and children Tracey (Ernie Levesque), Tammy (Gregg Emes), Bryan (Tracy Brown), Heather (Chad Huseby) and Trevor (Leiah); son Doug Parker (Terri) of Lethbridge and their children Deonne, Brett (Anna), Jeff (Janna), and Jordan (Megan); and son Robert Parker (Liz) of Vancouver, B.C. and children Brendon (Karen), Chelsea (Fernado) and Tarkel Parker. She also leaves behind her son-in-law Dennis Pugh (Joyce) of Ponoka and children Stephen (Tanya), Karen (Alan Knight), James Pugh and Angie (Colin Mueller).  Edna also had 53 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Ernie (1971); daughter Gwen Pugh (1982); an infant son; great-granddaughter Reagan Knight (2019); and great-grandson Joplin Parker (2019).

She will be missed by many for she had a generous heart and was always hospitable and kind. Edna was a super strong woman in life and in her faith.
