EARL ARCHIBALD HANNANT
November 27, 1933 - June 9, 2017
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Earl Archibald Hannant of Wetaskiwin on June 9, 2017.
Earl was the fifth born of 16 children to Herb and Mary Hannant on November 27, 1933. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley; son, Barry Zacharuk; father, Herb; mother, Mary as well as three brothers and seven sisters.
He is survived by his children, Joe (Eileen) Zacharuk of Barrhead, Val (Don) Leschert of Wetaskiwin, Debbie Suchotzky (John) of Riviere Qui Barre; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kodie) Tober, Michael (Amanda Rule) Leschert, Adam (Kessie) Zacharuk, Derek (Emily) Clark-Zacharuk, Karli (Kris) Zacharuk, Sarah Suchotzky; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob and Walter; sisters, Mary, Beatrice and Marlene and brother in law, Elmer as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
Earls first job was with a farmer in Cadillac, SK. He then moved to Swift Current to work in the Oilfields for Flint Engineering. Flint Engineering then transferred Earl to Millet, AB and eventually to Wetaskiwin. While living in Wetaskiwin Earl managed the Wildrose Garden Estates Mobile Home Park and was the owner/operator of E & S Bobcat Services.
The family would like to thank Maurice and Carol Lee Chabot, Mary from HomeCare, Nick Hrynchyshyn, Deb Jones Hendriks, Baker Funeral Chapel, The Bethany Group, and all the other special people in Earl’s life.

Honouring Earl’s life, the family is hosting a drop-in visit for family and friends at the Wetaskiwin Senior’s Drop-In Centre, 5216-54 Street on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
