Donold Brian Ahlquist

Donold Brian Ahlquist was born on March 11, 1951 in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully in his home on January 29, 2018.

Don was survived by his wife of 44 years, Lucille; his children and grandchildren; Dan and Kathy Ahlquist (Ceilidh and Aleah), Jon and Shauna Ahlquist (Morgan, Macy and James); Angela Ahlquist; Tamara and Tristan Noordhof (Hunter and Bowen). He was predeceased by his grandchildren Jamen and Daveny Noordhof; his father Herman Ahlquist; his brother Karl Ahlquist; and his special grandparents Carl and Annie Erickson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday,  February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Redeemer United Reformed Church in Lacombe, Alberta. A light lunch will be served immediately following the service. After the lunch, family and friends are welcome to attend the Graveside Service at Gull Lake Cemetery, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lacombe Youth Unlimited.

Don loved his family and friends and was dedicated to faithfully praying for them and immersing himself in the Word of God. His love for God was undeniable and inspiring.  We all  will continue to benefit  from Dad’s love of The Word and devotion to Christ.
