Donna was born March 20, 1950, in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. She was the second of six children born to David and Gladys Goldsney. She attended Moose Jaw’s Prince Arthur School from K-7 before moving to Calgary AB in 1962, and Winfield AB in 1963. Donna married the love of her life James Longstreet on October 10th of 1970. She held numerous jobs throughout her life including a Sunday school teacher and teachers aid for special needs children.
Celebrating her arrival in Heaven are son Darryl Longstreet, brother Gary Goldsney, and parents David and Gladys Goldsney.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory, husband; Jim; son, Jason (Shawna) Longstreet of Wetaskiwin AB, grandchildren;Shaylene Grekul (Christian Cayer); and great grand daughter, Marlee; Mackenzie and Seth, grandsons; Austin and Dylan Longstreet; son, Corey (Rene) Darling, and grandchildren; Callum, Meaghan, Jake, Gage, Jordana, Tika, and Conner Darling of Airdrie, AB; siblings, Lois (Larry), Bill, Glenda (Jim), Phillip (Fiona), Debbie, and their families; as well as numerous other family and friends.
She was a long-time member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church here in Wetaskiwin, where a service will be held in her honour on Saturday August 17th at 11:00 AM.
