Donald George Wark was born in Blackie, Alberta on December 20, 1930. He was the youngest of 11 children born to James and Annie Wark. Don spent 60-65 years working in the oil patch which took him to many places in the world, including moving his family to Indonesia for 3 years while he worked on offshore drilling rigs as a Senior Drilling Consultant in the Java Sea. Don also owned and operated the Millet Hotel for 10 years when he decided to take a break from the oil patch to stay home with Shirley and raise their family. He called Millet his home for 52+ years. Don was the most kind, caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He left an impression on the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. Don will be missed by so many and will live on forever in our hearts ♥️
