Derek is survived by his family, Sheila Morin (Norman); children, Ginger Morin (Robert), Cherry Morin, Ashley Morin (Joel), Derek Jr. Moore-Morin (Shade), Kelly Moore-Morin (Tori), Sarah Morin (Quintin), Hannah Morin and Hailey Morin; grandchildren, Preston, Myia, Stacie, Desmond, Noah Kaufman, Karmin, Riley, Memphis-Ray Morin Shaw, Thomas, and Kellyanna; adopted mother, Mae Moore; siblings, Georgie, Marilyn, Teddi, as well as brother, Patrick, as well as numerous extended family members, many friends and all those that knew and loved him.
Derek was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Morin; adopted father, John Moore as well as his grandchildren, Clifford and Baby Morin.
