David Alexander Lofstrand

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the loving family of David Alexander Lofstrand announce his passing on October 11, 2019 at the age of 95 years.

David was born in Long Beach, California to David and Ethel (Rounds) Lofstrand. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Verner and Clayton.

David will be lovingly remembered by his four children, Marilyn (Bill) Masters, Marlene Lofstrand, David (Connie) Lofstrand, and Barbara (Kim) Marsh. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Curtis (Natalie) Masters, Casson (Liz) Masters, Mark (Whitney) Masters, Derek Lofstrand and Megan Lofstrand and also the great grandchildren Ellie, Spencer, Mya, Kate, Andrew, Jack and Luke Masters. He was predeceased by Dorothy, his sweet wife of 66 years, on May 19, 2019.

A Celebration of David’s life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bashaw Community Centre, 5020 - 52 Street, Bashaw, Alberta.

In David’s memory, in lieu of flowers, if desired, the family would appreciate memorial donations in David’s honour may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca.
