David George Brain

David George Brain was born on August 25, 1936 in Eatonia, Saskatchewan and passed away on January 15, 2019 in Stettler, Alberta at the age of 82 years. He leaves behind his 3 children, Ken Brain (Tammy), Kelly Brain (Pam) and Cora-Lee Hansen (Kris); his 11 grandchildren, Tara-Lee Walstrom (Scott), Shantel Desilets (Caleb), Darcie Brain (Chris), Haley Hansen, Geana Hansen, Kelsey Brain (Curtis), Keysha Brain (Philipp), Travis Brain, Cole Brain, Trysten Brain, and Riata Brain; his great-grandchildren Jaxon Walstrom, Chase Walstrom, Colten Walstrom, Lux Desilets, Hadley Desilets, Steele Desilets, Zeplynne Desilets, and Mackayla Hansen; his sister Linda Durand (Lee); his extended family Suzanne Brain, Rebecca Lacelle and Kim Miller; as well as many other family and friends. David was predeceased by his wife Sharon Brain, his son Tommy Brain, his great-grandson Kertis Brain, his daughter-in-law Ann Brain, and his parents Cora and Tom Brain. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mirror Community Hall, Mirror, Alberta. Donations in David's name are gratefully accepted to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
