Charles Alexander Stone

Charles Alexander Stone passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on June 1, 2018 at the age of 80 years, with his family by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gwen; his children Michelle (Maurice) Quintin and Darren (Jeanine) Stone; step-sons Kelly and Morris Schultz; grandchildren Matejah Quintin and fiance Evan Kovacs, Micah Quintin, Katelyn Stone, Sarah (Tim) Pelzer, and Jessica Schultz; sister Flora (Bob) McLean; and nephew Gordon McLean.  Charles will also be sadly missed by his longtime friends Gary Lakeman, Don Russell, Bill (Catherine) Postill, Jim (Dee) Jan, and Duane (Bobbi) Pendergast; as well as numerous friends, neighbors and relatives.

Charles was predeceased by his parents Robert and Catherine Stone and his sister Mary Stone.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Alix Community Hall (5008-49th Avenue) on Monday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Reception.  The Interment Service will take place at the end of the day at the Fairview-Stone Cemetery south of Alix.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Deer Cancer Centre, the Red Deer Regional Hospital, or any charity of your choice.
