So sorry to read of Arnolds passing. I have known Arnold for over 30 years and always
referred to him as a "gentle giant". I took over the position of general manager of
Humphrey Products when he retired. He would always look me up when he was in
Winnipeg visiting family. He surprised me at my retirement party by first coming to
Winnipeg and then giving me a nice speech.
A life well lived.

Our deepest condolences and prayers to Lorne and family on the passing of Arnold.
He lived a long good life. We met him at our son Chris and Katie's wedding in September 2012 and remember he was full of life, enthusiam, opinions, and humour. It was fun talking with him those family Christmas get-togethers about historical events, news happenings, newspapers, and family. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Arnold was "1 in a million", such a gentle, loving spirit, with an inquiring mind. His queries about family, friends, jobs, extended family were so genuine...and he'd followup on the info when we next met. I (Kathy) am privileged he is also my godfather, and I treasure our chats, his mentorship, and his wonderful being. Uncle, you leave a lifetime of wonderful memories, which now are special treasures for each of our family, and so many others.
